What has already been done

The League was founded in 2001. The editors-in-chief of regional newspapers in it believe that in the period since, achievement has been quite great. Summing it up in a single report is hardly possible. The following, however, is an attempt.

Delegates from the Interregional League of Journalists visited Japan

During a ten days stay there, members of the League from Kirov, Yaroslavl, Ulyanovsk, Arkhangelsk, Cheboksary and Moscow met with a number of Japanese TV, radio and newspaper reporters. They also visited the headquarters of many Japanese companies. Together with the then Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi, they joined a ceremony to mark 150 years of diplomatic ties between Russia and Japan. The delegates visited this country’s section at Expo-2005 in Nagoya.

The Interregional League of Journalists visited Mari-El Republic
