The Interregional League of Journalists has been holding its forum on Crete (Greece) since July, 17th. The forum features editors-in-chief and journalists of the following newspapers: "Vyatsky Krai" (Kirov), "Stavropolskaya Pravda " (Stavropol), "Zolotoe Koltso " (Yaroslavl), " Nizhegorodskie Novosti " (Nizhny Novgorod), "Permskie Novosti " (Perm), "Izvestiya Mordovii" (Saransk), "Krasnoe Znamya" (Syktyvkar), "Mariyskaya Pravda" (Yoshkar- Ola), "Dzerzhinets" (Dzerzhinsk, the Nizhniy Novgorod region), "Tomskaya Nedelya" (Tomsk), " Sovetskaya Sibir" (Novosibirsk), " Sovetskaya Chuvashia" (Cheboksary), " Komsomolets Kaspiya " (Astrakhan).

More actors are coming to Yoshkar- Ola these days to take part in a fest of Finno-Ugric Theaters . Many journalists are also visiting the city, as editors-in-chief of the newspapers comprising the Interregional League of Journalists came to Yoshkar-Ola to take part in the journalists’ forum. Such meetings are held regularly.
Yesterday a press-conference and the awards ceremony of the Russian Route journalist competition were held in Moscow’s "President Hotel". The competition was organized by the Tourism Press Club together with the Interregional Fund for Sustainable Development of Tourism and with help from Russia’s State Duma Committee for Economic Policy, Business and Tourism , the Department of tourism of Russia’s Ministry of Economic Development and Trade and the Volga (Privolzhsky) League of Journalists. The event is aimed at promoting domestic and foreign tourism.
Newspapers of 22 Russian regions are boycotting Filipp. The Interregional League of Journalists featuring the leading newspapers of the Volga region, Ural, Central Russia and the North Caucasus, announced that its newspapers will not write a line about Filipp Kirkorov.
